The new timber release plan has just been announced that reveals plans for a large tract of forest to be cleared between Goolengook anr Ellery. This forest has never been touched by logging or fire and is wet old growth forest.

The plan is now open for public comment - please make your feelings known to VicForest, for what its worth.
