Smoke hangs in the air for days, making even the moon apear red. In the background fire is out of control in the forest


This was once rainforest


Now that's what I call TRASHED


This 'management' is to create a neat crop of hardwood for woodchips


The dark strip along the bottom of the gully was once all rainforest


The fire has spread into the forest, out of control


This coupe extends all the way along a ridgeline. The adjacent ridge was given the same treatment.


This is the adjacent hill, next to be logged. The ferns shown here once covered that ashen plain.
